Ian Andersen always liked comics, but it wasn’t until he found James Kochalka’s American Elf that he started making his own. “The idea of just doing a strip a day about my own life really blew me away,” he says. Like many other cartoonists before him, he discovered that this daily routine pushed him to improve his ability in both drawing and writing. Ian has posted a daily comic for two years now, attends college, and drinks lots of coffee.

Ian Andersen always liked comics, but it wasn’t until he found James Kochalka’s American Elf that he started making his own. “The idea of just doing a strip a day about my own life really blew me away,” he says. Like many other cartoonists before him, he discovered that this daily routine pushed him to improve his ability in both drawing and writing. Ian has posted a daily comic for two years now, attends college, and drinks lots of coffee.

Her primary tools are ink and a ball pointed calligraphy nib, and she plans to study the art of jewelry-making through her upcoming minor in material art and design. Outside of class, Rebecca stays busy with commissioned work, creating art for her Etsy store, and tattooing oranges for practice. She also likes birds.

Callers from across the world participate by dialing One Hello World’s voicemail and sharing their story. The result is a musical compilation giving listeners a cross-section of the human experience. With the help of a successful Kickstarter project, a 30-track debut album, The Listener is set to be released in late March.
